The following documentation has been designed on behalf of Resource Informatik AG within the scope of a diploma thesis at Zurcher Hochschule Winterthur.The main task was to identify and to explain existing processes of a Labour System and in addition to show eventual improvements for further versions.

Resource Informatik AG with its Head Office in Wollerau is certified for its advisory services in respect of SAP and e-Business solutions. The processdesign for Laboratories zLAB that has been developed is based on a standard solution from SAP.

This diploma thesis is divided in to parts. The first part is showing the actual zLAB whereas the second part is focusing on the newer software version, the so called zLAB3.0. Furthermore, several modifications will be presented, to improve its integration into a Labour?s everyday life. The project predefinition, meeting minutes, the journal, a list with open issues, project schedule, process list, as well as a list of questions with the respective answers from Viollier and a form example are attached.

In conclusion it has to be said, that due to a precise schedule and well defined and reachable milestones, there has never been a risk to the project.
