DA Frp 05/1 - RAAS Client Simulator - Robot Simulation with Java3D

Goal of this dimploma thesis is to create a robot simulation software for the project RAAS (Robot Assisted Assembly System) that is currently under development at the Institute of Mecatronic Systems of the ZHW. The simulator shall allow the further developing- and testing-phases without having access to the real robot.

The software has to receive XML-formated commands, visualize the actions of the robot and generate appropriate responses for the control unit.

The look of the robot should be as nice as possible and its behaviour has to be realistic.

Java3D has to be used for the implementation of the application.
