Our main task in this diploma thesis was to develop a worktime scheduler for the pocket pc. With this worktime scheduler the employees of the awarding authority Noser Engineering AG can acquire their worktime. The software should also be able to connect to the internet with different communicationdevices (USB, Bluetooth, Wireless LAN and GPRS) to synchronize the data with a database server. Regarding of this there had to be built a API which will handle all those connection for the GUI.

The software is based on Microsoft .NET Compact Framework and was programmed with C#. The .NET Compact Framework which only contains about 25% of the .NET Framework disposed us some bigger problems because some parts of the existing sourcecode from the Project-Time-Client were not compatible with .NET Compact Framework.

In spite of this problems the tasks of the diploma thesis could be fulfilled successfully. Those includes the implementation of the existing project-time-client on a pocket pc and a self-programmed API which allocates some communicationdevices for the pocket pc.
