In this thesis we implemented an adaptive algorithm to detect the change-over point in injection molding processes. We used a dsPIC microcontroller with DSP functions.

The tests on an injection molding machine showed that the algorithm does not only perform in the simulation, it also works with the dynamic behavior of the real process. For most of the pressure courses our system finds the right change-over point quickly and reliably.
