The assignment was to analyse the requirements, design the application with all functionalities and implement it as far as possible. The resulting management-tool allows an extensive error-management and controlling of all workflows. A workflow defines who has to do what at what time. Free definable forms can be used for data collection. An integrated Document Management System allows to assign documents to a workflow. Workflows can then be visualized what allows a supervision of the pro-gress. The stearing of the workflows is also supported by a messaging-system. In the event of defini-tion of a new workflow, timeout of a task or other important occasions the involved users will be in-formed by e-mail. A link in the e-mail makes it easy to get to the affected task, error or workflow. The whole system is realized as a web solution, which makes a local installation on pc-clients needless. The system can be accessed with a standard browser. Additionally the login can occur over Novell Directory Service, what makes a login procedure unnecessary.
