In collaboration with BSW-Security Zurich we realised an emergency door system, which is controlled by a SPS with touch screen display. As Hardware we used a Fred P300T SPS from elrest, a BCM 925 bus-controller and three individual door terminals 1338-20KABA from effeff. For the programming we used CoDeSys and EStudio software from Elrest.

Generally the communication between the SPS and the BCM works over a RS232 wire, for that we programmed a library with all used functions. The SPS works as a control unit, if there is a problem in the system the BCM informs the SPS and with the touch screen the user has the possibility to react. In case of communication problems of the system, the BCM can work as an individual unit, the doors can be controlled by the door terminals everytime.

In case of an electricity blackout the doors could be controlled only by their terminals if the Fred is not connected to the emergency accu pack. In case of a shot down of one of our units the communication will be rebuilt as soon as possible, because our SPS detects a loosing connection to the BCM.

All the functions, which were asked from BSW-Security Zurich, are programmed and tested. Our system is ready for installation in a building with three doors.
