After several trials in previous projects, we intend to learn from those problems and to realize a circuit that matches the high demands of our task. Therefore we studied the works of our predecessors and thought intensly about the whole system and its possibility of realization. Many calculations concerning noise figures and critical power levels are made.

In a second stage we simulate all the different parts of the complete system like amplifier, upconverter, local oscillator and the SAW-filter at our intermediate frequency. A specialized program is used for our simulations. Thereafter we are able to realize the needed circuits and to measure the important characteristics.

Finally we put all the separate parts together and build up a complete receiver, only the demodulator missing because we lack of time. In addition we create a simulation of the whole receiver, based on an earlier project. This simulation and its parameters represents the system we created in hardware. To fit the demanded high dynamics of our receiver-system, we make concrete plans how to realize the needed power-regulator.
