The target of this project was creating a DC/AC Converter for a power of 30W. The input voltage is a band from 5 to 12V DC. The output voltage is 230V AC. In the first part of the project, we created a concept. The concept is: The DC voltage is raised by a flyback converter to an upper DC voltage. The flyback converter is chopped with a frequency of 50 kHz. We inverted the DC voltage on the upper level with an h-bridge of IGBTs to an AC voltage with sinus wave. The most difficult part is to hold the AC output on the same voltage even though the input and the load are not constantly. The answer to this problem is a control loop. We are able to hold the voltage exactly on the same level with a control loop independent of the load and the input voltage. The realization process of the flyback was without problems. Also the control loop is working without problems. But we had difficulties with switching the h-bridge. We changed from IGBT switches to MOSFET switches. The MOFET switches are suited better for using in this project. MOSFET are working better with low currents then IGBTs. The full realization was exposed more time then we had. For this reason we could not create a sinus wave output voltage. We decided to a square wave output voltage.
