The use and maintenance of the existing AWK Group AG electronic quality management manual is cumbersome and time consuming. Management therefore, have decided to purchase a new system for the electronic publication of the quality management document with which later it will also be possible to make internal information available.

A new solution had to be found for the publication of documents in the Intranet.

First of all the actual situation had to be analysed. The result was to be, that with the introduction of a new system the most successful solution would be reached. For this a list of possible suppliers and their products was created. In order to keep the amount of work down a rough evaluation was made first. The final three chosen products were further analysed and their suitability for the task examined. As winner of the evaluation Net-It Central was the only fully promising product for the requirements of the firm and will be bought.

In a further phase Net-It Central will be installed, configured and tested on the Intranet server. Afterwards the new data will be migrated into the new system and with the Net-It Central successfully published.

Next to the practical work described above the working concept had also to be worked out. To this end a publication process was produced and a framework for the publishing of quality relevant documents laid out in the publishing rules.

A further part of this work will be assigning the existing documents in the quality management handbook to the newly worked out main processes of the process-house.

With this procedure Systems Engineering as well as the "AWK-Phasenmodell", which is described, will be followed.

The result of this diploma work is a successful published quality management system.
